A kid was staring at a mango tree by the roadside. Seeing the ripe fruits, he wanted to eat them. He kicked the tree a few times, but none of the fruits fell.
The kid looked for rocks to throw at the fruit but couldn’t find any. He looked for long sticks to grind with, but still found none.
A man passing by stopped when he saw the child. He asked, “What are you doing here? What do you want?”
The kid looked at the man and said, “I want the mangoes from the tree.”
The man said, “If you don’t get close to what you want, you’ll never get it. You need to be able to climb the tree to get the mango. You need to be able to throw rocks too.”
It was only then that the child realized the importance of climbing the tree. So this time, he started climbing the mango tree.
