Envy of others is a natural human trait

People naturally feel envy. Some get jealous when others are better, richer, more talented, or smarter than them.

The pain of envy can be really hard to manage. Controlling jealousy takes a lot of patience, self-awareness, and understanding of things like love, respect, and acceptance.

We often see in communities the issues and problems that come from envy.

Jealousy is why people sometimes act in ways meant to insult, harm, or demean others.

A lot of jealousy is hidden behind the myths of crime and guilt that have long existed in local society.

Teenage crushes, impressive achievements, being good at something, or just having a happy life can often trigger jealousy in others.

Have you ever been jealous of someone? If you tend to get jealous, pay attention to your thoughts and actions. You might end up hurting someone else by mistake.

Keep your jealousy to yourself; don’t let it change your intentions or make others feel jealous.

It’s really important to let go of jealousy. Just like it can harm, hurt, and weaken someone, it can also cause all sorts of problems for you.
