A man from the village decided to dig a well because there wasn’t enough water. His name was Swrang Narzary. After digging down fifteen feet, the soil kept collapsing. It was hard, and he started thinking it was impossible to build a well there.
He got frustrated with all the failures and thought about giving up on digging the well. He genuinely believed it couldn’t be done there.
Then a smart well-digger came along. His name was Simangsa Basumatary. He saw that Swrang was about to quit digging the well.
The expert said, “Difficult doesn’t mean impossible. It just means you need to try harder.”
With new motivation, Swrang worked really hard and dug the well. After a few days of nonstop digging, he finally found water. He felt happy and really satisfied during this whole time.
